Raising up a new generation of Christ-centered leaders!

Cross Point Youth (CPY) is for any teenager between 6th and 12th grade. There are endless amounts of opportunity for your student between discipleship small groups, youth trips, and community service opportunities.  The youth ministry's goal is to raise up a new generation of Christ centered disciples, by loving connecting and equipping!

SMALL GROUPS

Get connected. Go Deeper.

On any given Wednesday or Sunday, both our middle and high schoolers break off into small groups with our youth leaders based on age! These small groups often meet outside of the church building whether that be coffee at the Chocolate Moose on Wednesday evening or a Sunday morning breakfast! These small groups allow our students to connect with each other on a deeper level and form lasting friendships!

WHAT WE DO

MISSION TRIPS

There is something about getting a youth away from home, family, technology and the normal routine that God uses to awaken and speak to our youth. CPY has been a part of many missions trips over the years from trips in the US, to Canada, Caribbean, Central America and South America!

TRIPS/CONVENTIONS

Between singing worship songs on top of the Rocky mountains in Colorado to summer camp at the beach, we love allowing our students to experience the world! CPY attends several conventions which bring in top speakers, bands, comedians and others to provide lasting training and insight to those who attend.

SERVING

Serving is an important facet of CPY! Whether through planning youth events throughout the year or taking it a step further and serving during second service on Sundays, students are encouraged to serve in many different areas of the church. Serving helps create ownership and responsibility and both are needed in maturing in ones faith.

DISCIPLESHIP

Discipleship consists of small group gatherings, which can be one-on-one, or several youth with adult team leaders. In these times there is prayer, intentional bible study, accountability, and challenges in spiritual growth. These small groups happen every Sunday and Wednesday along with other set times throughout the week.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Leadership training involves extra steps taken for those who are showing signs of caring, serving and commitment. The student ministry has several leadership courses to be involved in. One step is to be a part of 3sli (Three Level Student Leadership Institute), which happens once a year. This weekend conference helps students understand their leadership wiring and helps line out next steps in leadership development.  On completion from level three, students are awarded a scholarship for college. Other leadership training happens with team members and individual opportunities at Cross Point.

preteen/middle school ministry

CPY provides a pre-teen and middle school ministry for students ages 4-8th grade. These events include Breakthrough, an event that takes place once a month as  a way for our middle schoolers to hang out, play games, and hear a message specifically for them. There is also an opportunity for them to hear a message on Sunday mornings during the 10:45 am service.  During the school year (September - May) this age groups also meets every Sunday in the kitchen to cook, eat breakfast and serve together. During this small group the students learn life skills, responsibility, leadership, accountability, safety and study God's word.
